I created @Welovebooksellers on Instagram because booksellers are the beating heart of our literary world, and they deserve to be celebrated every single day. Booksellers pair readers with the stories they need, nurture communities, uplift authors, and keep the magic of books alive. I wanted to create a space where their passion, generosity, and daily work could be seen and appreciated.
@Welovebooksellers is also a proud initiative of the Drexel University MFA in Creative Writing. Our students, faculty, and alumni are joining me in this mission by visiting bookstores across the country, interviewing booksellers, gathering stories, and creating content that highlights the incredible people who make our reading lives possible. Their voices and perspectives help bring this project to life from coast to coast.

Annnnddddd the series goes on, this time at Main Point Books, the indie bookstore that has been serving the Main Line community since 2013.
In this episode, Cathy, the owner of Main Point Books, shares a little more about everything the store has to offer. From childrenโs books to thrillers, fantasy, cooking, and so many other genres, the store has books for all kinds of readers. The shop also has cards, stuffed animals, and other fun gifts, really something for everyone.

The series continues, this time with Sarah from Books Through Bars, a Philadelphia based organization getting books into the hands of incarcerated people.
In this episode, Sarah talks about the heart behind the work and the real need for access to books, especially as resources inside prisons fall short. With the help of a huge volunteer network, Books Through Bars sends out thousands of books each year, reaching people who have no other way to access them.
